Your contributions will have a direct impact on protecting sensitive user data while enabling the organization to innovate safely and efficiently.

Accountabilities

·         Design, implement, and maintain cloud security controls, policies, and standards for AWS environments.

·         Apply Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation to manage secure infrastructure deployments.

·         Manage and secure Kubernetes or EKS clusters, including implementing best practices and governance.

·         Conduct threat modeling exercises and vulnerability assessments on production cloud infrastructure.

·         Tune and monitor Web Application Firewalls (WAFs) and other security monitoring tools.

·         Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate security into all stages of development.

·         Provide guidance on HIPAA compliance and other regulatory requirements as they pertain to infrastructure security.

Requirements

·         3+ years of hands-on AWS engineering experience (security or non-security role).

·         Proficiency using AWS SDKs for Python, JavaScript, or Go for automation and security tasks.

·         Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and security best practices.

·         Knowledge of Kubernetes/EKS security management and configuration.

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

·         Preferred: experience implementing Service Control Policies (SCPs), HIPAA compliance understanding, and security threat modeling for cloud infrastructure.

Benefits

·         Competitive salary range: $155,500 – $183,000, plus equity.

·         100% remote work environment (US-based), supporting work-life balance.

·         Comprehensive health benefits: medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and FSA/HSA.

·         401(k) plan access for retirement savings.

·         Generous time-off policies, including two company-wide shutdown weeks annually.

·         Paid parental leave for all parents.

·         Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for mental and physical well-being support.

·         New hire home office stipend and quarterly department stipends for team-building activities.

·         Wellness events, lunch & learns, and participation in community and employee resource groups.
